Hachijo Daiko Fundamentals - by Yuta Kato
A powerful and graceful style that originates from Hachijo Island of Japan, Hachijo Daiko is a strictly improvisational style of taiko played by only two people: the soloist and the base-beat player.
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals and will be guided through drills and exercises designed to help increase confidence in expressing oneself.
Ji-Goe 地聲 (Mochizuki Prep) - by ManMan Mui

Preparation for learning "Mochizuki 望月" -- a festive and energetic piece on beta and odaiko style composed by Aki Takahashi (Ten Ten Canada)

Level 2 Courses
Beta Level 2 - by Yuta Kato
Most basic style of taiko where the hitting surface of the drum is horizontal to the floor.

Naname Level 2 - by Yuta Kato
Most popular style of taiko at LATI, where the drum is placed on an angled stand allowing for more choreographic playing.

Odaiko Level 2 - by Yuta Kato
The "Big Drum", where the drum is placed on a higher stand and hitting surface is perpendicular to the floor.
